Senior Does Junior Does Bucks For Sale |
|
The Nubian goat herd began with a need for goat milk. Not for humans, but for an orphaned foal. We found “a milk goat” of non-descript breeding. After the foal was weaned, we set out to find better does. Being long-time Nubian admirer, we searched many local ranches before we came upon a top-notch ranch, Bull Pines Ranch and Beverly Barnes. With many years experience raising quality animals, we knew that these were top animals. Within a week, we came home with 5 four month-old doelings. That same year, our children showed them at the Fresno District Fair in the 4-H division and came home with a Junior Champion and many ribbons. DRD Ranch continues to produce does who compete both in the show ring and in the milking barn. We specialize in our Nubians, bucks and does, have outstanding dispositions and personalities.
The current animals have Saada, Royal Cedars, Kastdemurs, and Wingwood Farms breeding. As always, we are excited about the new crop of kids.
Our does are tested annually for CAE. We participate in Linear Appraisal. All does are vaccinated and wormed on a regular schedule. All kids are vaccinated at birth with Bo-Se. The kids are vaccinated with CD&T at regular. DRD Ranch offers Nubians for sale at reasonable prices. There is extra savings for buying two or more and to 4-H and FFA members. A deposit of $75 is required to hold the kid of your choice. The remainder of the purchase price is due within four weeks of the kids birth. Kids need to be shipped or picked up within six weeks. A boarding fee of $8.00 per week will be charged after that. We reserve the right to retain any kid born for our own breeding program. If your choice is not available, we will refund your deposit. Deposits are not refunded on cancelled orders . All health certificates and transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
After thirty-five years of raising our Nubians, we are currently downsizing. The desire for travel is starting to take presidence over showing.
Many Nubians are currently for sale. |
